Contract Review Service

The contract review service provides pro-active support that will seek to identify onerous contract clauses before work starts, thus seeking to avoid contract issues further down the line.

Standard Terms and Conditions - Client Order (Scotland)

The Client Order and associated guidance note (see below) aims to address the most common issues FIS members are currently encountering in a pro-active and commercial manner.  It is intended for use between the Contractor and an Employer (Client), where the Contractor wishes to contract on its own terms, and has not been provided with a contract by the Employer.

This Guidance has also been created for members subjected to heavily amended standard form contracts to help highlight risks and contrast with more reasonable clauses that could be proposed as an alternative.
