Skills & Funding Clinics – Trained but not claimed?
If you are CITB registered and have trained your employees and/or subcontractors you are entitled to claim support from CITB, but the grant claims system can be complicated and it is easy to miss pockets of funding. Our expert team will review your past and planned training to ensure that you are able to optimise this claim. We will also help you to identify additional training available to you.
FIS will look at short duration training, any potential vocational qualifications and/or apprentice claims and opportunities to deploy the CITB Skills and Training Fund. In addition, we can help you explore potential of funding from other sources such as the Department for Work and Pensions, Local Enterprise Partnerships and equivalent organisations in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and plug you in to any available bursaries that may support your trainee or apprentices.
How Skills and Funding Clinics work?
Appointments are conducted virtually and information is treated in the strictest of confidence. In addition to isolating funding, FIS is able to walk you through the claims process itself. In 2019 we increased members claims by more than £1,000 in 80% of cases (in some cases we found significantly more unclaimed funds).

Training Offers
FIS works with its Approved Training Providers (ATPs) to source funding and provide discounted training that is specific to the finishes and interiors sector.
This includes fully funded NVQs through Onsite Assessment and discounts of sector specific trianing.
