FIS has partnered with Fire Engineering Specialists PartB to offer a Fire Engineering Advisory Service, providing members with early, structured access to specialist fire engineering advice to help manage increasing regulatory, contractual and professional risk.
This exclusive members service aims to provide early, targeted access to competent fire engineering advice, supporting members to manage regulatory, contractual, and professional risk before committing to installation or design decisions and to support proportionate response to legacy disputes.
Where assistance is required beyond the scope of the helpline, this will be managed through direct appointment between the member and the fire engineering provider, independent of FIS.
A structured response to growing industry risk
The service has been developed in response to mounting pressures on specialist contractors, including the transfer of design responsibility, ambiguity in compliance expectations, inconsistent use of test evidence and challenges surrounding legacy projects.
