FIS Members have access to a Fire Engineering Advisory advice accessed through a time‑bounded helpline. The service aims to provide early, targeted access to competent fire engineering advice, supporting members to manage regulatory, contractual, and professional risk before committing to installation or design decisions and to support proportionate response to legacy disputes.
Where assistance is required beyond the scope of the helpline, this will be managed through direct appointment between the member and the fire engineering provider, independent of FIS.
