The Construction Industry Joint Council (CIJC) has agreed a staggered increase in holiday entitlement over the next two years.
From 1 January 2027, an additional half day will be introduced, taking the annual entitlement up to 23.5 days (plus eight bank holidays). Another half day will then be added from 1 January 2028, taking the total to 24 days. An updated Holiday Entitlement for 2027 will be made available to members in December.
