Applications for the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) close today (30 June). EU workers (excluding the Republic of Ireland) who have not applied through the settlement scheme by 30 June will not be legal workers and this may have serious implications for your business.
Under specific circumstances (e.g. due to COVID restrictions) it may be possible for individuals to submit a late application. For further information, see section Reasonable Grounds for Failing to meet the EUSS Deadline on Page 26 of this guide.
From the 1st July new Right to Work checks will apply to EU workers (with the exception of Republic of Ireland).

FIS remains concerned about the impact that this will have on available workers.
