The course developed with the support of members of the FIS Drylining Working Group aims to equip learners with the information they need to:

  • Understand the time required
  • Understand the site conditions required to ensure a compliant bid
  • Ensure that a fully complaint design is agreed before starting work and that materials can be procured and placed on site to meet the

  • Understand the limitations of the materials and systems in use.

Training is intended for use by Clients, Main contractors, Specialist contractors and is particularly targeted at site managers and project managers, but is a useful introduction to the drylining process for anyone involved in the tendering or procurement of drylining and setting jobs up for success.   It is also can work as part of the training syllabus for those in construction of the built environment wanting a bit more in-depth understanding of drylining.
