Training Funding
Funding availabe for training completed since 1 August 2020
FIS has additional funding up to a maximum of £2,000 per member for CITB grant eligible training including short duration course grants and VQ’s within CITB Scope.
Funding is limited and runs until 31 March 21

Trained but not claimed?
If you pay CITB levy and have trained your employees and/or sub-contractors you are entitled to claim support from CITB, but the grant claims system can be complicated and it is easy to miss pockets of funding. Our expert team will review your past and planned training to ensure that you are able to optimise this claim. We will also help you to identify additional training available to you as part of the process.
Through this process, FIS will look at short duration training, any potential vocational qualifications and/or apprentice claims and opportunities to deploy the CITB Skills and Training Fund. In addition, we can help you explore potential of funding from other sources such as the Department for Work and Pensions, Local Enterprise Partnerships and equivalent organisations in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and plug you in to any available bursaries that may support your trainee or apprentices.

How does the process work?
Appointments are conducted virtually and all information is treated in the strictest of confidence. In additional to isolating the funding, FIS is able to walk you through the claims process itself. Through this process in 2019 FIS was able to increase claims by more than £1,000 in 80% of cases (in some cases we were able to find significantly more unclaimed funds).
