Ceilings and Absorbers working group

Event Details

FIS members are invited to attend the online Ceilings & Absorbers working group meeting on 14 July. This will be a forum where members can drop in to a shorter meeting and catch-up with the ongoing activities of the working group with an opportunity to ask questions, raise challenges and get involved in drafting or reviewing these projects.

The ongoing projects that will be discussed at the meeting are as follows:

• Ceiling sustainability group work on EPDs and Reuse categories
• Response to the White Paper, General Safety Requirement (GSR) and PAS 2000
• Review draft guidance on Reaction to Fire
• Update on investigation into reaction to fire of polypads
• Update on investigation into fire resistant grid ceilings interfacing with a non-fire resistant perimeter
