Ceilings and Absorbers Working Group

Event Details

FIS is holding its first Ceilings and Absorbers working group in person on 15 April at Saint-Gobain Solutions Centre in London.  In addition to the work outlined in the agenda, members will have the opportunity to raise any of their own concerns or propose activities that will support improvement.

• Regulatory reform | A review of the government white paper, product risk assessments and the role of PAS 2000
• CE Marking | Scope of designated standards and when products are placed on the market
• Update on investigation into fire resistant grid ceilings
• Sustainability update | Reuse, circular economy and SKA update
• Skills update | Level 2 and 3 installer and supply side competency frameworks
• e-Learning and guidance | Assessing priorities and training gaps
