University House Birmingham
The Project
The University House Project was a new build built on the Birmingham University Campus. The building was constructed to create an additional learning block to the University’s existing Business Centre. The design included a direct link between the new and the existing building. Taylor Hart Installed all drywall on this project (stud partitions, linings, MF margins and ceilings) to create new office and learning spaces along with an atrium area.
The drywall works also included bespoke blind box details created using plasterboard and a series of shadow gap details around exposed concrete columns, doors and skirting’s.
Taylor Hart incorporated off site manufacturing with components such as deflection heads, builders work openings, door sets and pattresses being constructed/cut off site.
