The Fairfax - Manchester

The Project

BW Shrimpton were appointed to deliver the specialist ceilings and partitioning package at The Fairfax, Manchester, as an integral part of the wider project team. The scope required a high level of craftsmanship, coordination and attention to detail to achieve the quality and design intent of the development to both the Amenity areas and the Residential Apartments.

Our works included the supply and installation of Suspended ceilings, Acoustic raft ceilings in both steel and fabric, Hanging Geometric chain features, Polished Plaster-effect finishes, Feature SAS Wall Panelling, MF Ceilings and Partitioning systems, together with the fit-out of 488 one and two bedroom apartments.

The varied nature of the package required detailed planning and close coordination with the building services, structural elements and other specialist trades and particular attention was given to accurate setting out, ensuring ceiling lines, bulkheads, partitions, access requirements and service zones were integrated seamlessly. Consistent lines, levels and junctions were maintained throughout, with a strong focus on the quality of interfaces and finished details.
