SOAR The Intu Centre, Braehead
The Project
Intu Braehead is Scotland’s largest retail and leisure complex with the UK’s longest indoor real snow ski slope. The project was to carry out the design development, manufacture and site installation of the GRG cast plaster Space Trees in the remodeled circulation areas of SOAR at intu Braehead.
The works were located in the Ground Floor public areas and briefly comprised:
-9 No GRG Space Trees, 8.00 x 5.20m on plan x 4300mm high.
-9 No GRG Tapered Column casings 650mm to 980mm at the head.
-6 No GRG Circular column casings, 650mm diameter.
In total Ryedale Interiors manufactured and installed around 575m2 of moulded GRG plaster casts and supporting framework on this project.
