The Project
Working with Form Design Consultants , Scotwood were awarded Rabbies Cat B fit out on the 4th floor at 22 Rose Street , Edinburgh . The offices , approx. 6,000 sq ft has extensive glazing which give breath-taking views towards Edinburgh Old Town and the castle and also benefits from an extensive private roof terrace .
The project programme was 10 weeks and was a full fit out of a recently completed Cat A fit out including all M and E alterations . New meeting spaces , collaboration areas and a break out area with a fully fitted kitchen complimented the open plan office desking area . Scotwood used Ocula Glazing to offer sound proofed full height glazing frontages to the newly formed meeting spaces. Existing services were adapted and added to allow for comfort cooling and ventilation to all enclosed areas . Feature lighting was added to various areas and Scotwood created bespoke joinery items to finish off the suite to a high standard.
Working closely with the client’s marketing teams , digital prints , manifestation and neon signage were designed to create the full branding package .
New flooring , decorations , curtains and blinds completed the fit out .
Scope of Works
New full height sound partitions required a signification amount of scribing to accommodate existing services in ceiling .
The site was adjacent to the Premier Inn and communication was vital with the hotel management team to ensure noise levels were kept to a minimum in the mornings .
Unfortunately the clients furniture supplier went into administration days before the final install was due .
