The Project
ML Interiors was tasked with handling the following packages on a prestigious project in Central London: partitions, acoustic barriers, ceilings, timber doors, glazed doors, and glazing.
The project required various elements which were all required to be fully integrated. One example of this was a detail between the MF ceilings with incorporated curved lights and curved double glazing. The double glazing required particular attention due to the curved radius being 600mm. This radius in double glazed acoustic glass is notorious for being difficult to achieve without flat spots/ snags. We managed to install all 32 no. curved panels without any remakes or snags.
The project also required high levels of acoustic performance to ensure all areas were kept private. One particular detail that required a bespoke solution was where acoustic partitions needed to be curved. ML Interiors ensured the acoustics were upheld by partnering with Innovate at Sa to create prefabricated curved partition sections using the same specification as the acoustic partitions.
We also installed three different SAS systems which all had to align whilst avoiding services and maintaining head room throughout both floors. Timber doors and double-glazed doors were seamlessly incorporated into the partitions to complete the installation on our flagship project.
