Penkridge Hall, Leebotwood
The Project
At Penkridge Hall in Leebotwood, Fine Art Mouldings executed the design, supply, and installation of a bespoke vaulted ceiling in a newly constructed building. A significant amount of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) work was undertaken to develop the complex ceiling layout and ensure precise execution. The large fibrous plaster panels were carefully pieced together like a puzzle, resulting in a seamless finish. Expert craftsmanship ensured all joints and mitres were hand-dressed and refined to perfection. Prior to installing the fibrous plasterwork, a suspended metal ceiling and fire-rated boarding were completed. This harmonious combination of modern design technology and traditional artisan skills delivered a striking feature that enhances the building’s architectural integrity.
Scope of Works
- Design Development: Extensive CAD work to create and refine the vaulted ceiling layout.
- Material Preparation: Supplied and fabricated fibrous plaster panels tailored to the design.
