The Project
We have successfully undertaken an exquisite project that showcases the artistry and technical finesse of GRG and its versatility incorporating other finishes, such as Sto Acoustics and bespoke access panels.
Our journey with Peninsula Hotel London began with an in-depth analysis of the initial design, with specific focus on the most intricate sections. Leveraging our expertise and working collaboratively with our client, Ateliers De France, we seamlessly integrated our technical recommendations into their existing design, delivering an impressive result.
The production phase of the project involved crafting numerous coffer and cornice sections in GRG. Attention to detail was paramount as we strived for consistency across all sections. Each piece was carefully extracted from the moulds and individually finished.
Incorporating a combination of SFS framework and Knauf studwork and ceiling grid, we merged functionality with aesthetic appeal. One of the standout features of this project is the breathtaking high-level ceiling bays. Comprising of octagonal bays with central and corner features, each individual component was meticulously crafted. The precise installation ensured perfect alignment.
We encountered various service-related complexities. Rising to the occasion, we designed and manufactured special pattresses to seamlessly integrate services within the octagonal bays, overcoming challenges with unparalleled innovation.
