HSBC, Birmingham

The Project

Stanford Hall is a grade II* listed building situated in Stanford on Soar. The building was gifted to the government by the 7th Duke of Westminster and has been re furbished as part of the new defence rehabilitation centre (DNRC).
Works included the installation of new stud partitions to create military offices, consultation rooms and conference areas. Once the newly designed partitions had been completed plaster and patch repairs were carried out to the existing walls and ceilings using lime plaster and lath. Plasterboard bulkheads and suspended ceilings were then installed to some of the areas to add a contemporary spin to this historic building.
