The Project
This project was McCarthy Stone’s first time using an LGSF system, and first time work with Cheshire Ceilings and Partitions. All records at MCS were broken in terms of installation and quality. A lot of planning involved! All materials were pre loaded into plots before any installation commenced. All works were built correctly with a ‘right first time’ approach, a robust quality management system in place, and a ‘can do’ attitude. We come up with a simple yet very effective detail to protect our topping down works from water ingress, resulting in an earlier start date and reduced programme time. Our work really caught the attention of all at McCarthy Stone. It was mentioned that in the 45 years they had been trading, they hadn’t experienced anything like us. Even the follow on trades mentioned how they earned much more money than expected in a shorter time frame. We even had the pleasure of meeting the CEO, John Tonkiss.
Daniel Rutherford – Senior Site Manager, went on to win a Seal of Excellence at the NHBC pride in the job awards where we were nominated as key contractors and invited to the awards ceremony.
