The Project
This project delivered a new 135 m² flagship retail store, designed to showcase the client’s evolving brand identity and elevate the customer experience. Como Associates provided a comprehensive turnkey service, acting as both Principal Designer and Principal Contractor, and managing all stages from initial concept design and technical detailing to landlord and centre approvals, procurement, and on-site delivery within a 6-week programme.
The transformation began with a complete strip-out of the existing unit, followed by the installation of new building services to support the flagship specification. This included a new HVAC system, bespoke LED feature lighting schemes, enhanced power distribution, and integrated data infrastructure. The spatial layout was optimised to improve customer flow and sightlines, while premium finishes and refined architectural detailing were introduced to reflect the elevated positioning of the brand.
Central to the flagship concept was the integration of bespoke joinery across key display zones, including a custom-designed internal shopfront surround. Specialist lighting was carefully curated to highlight product presentation and reinforce the brand’s visual identity. A new fully glazed external shopfront was also installed, maximising visibility and creating a striking street presence.
Delivered on time and within budget, the project sets a new benchmark for the client’s retail portfolio, blending functionality, craftsmanship, and brand storytelling into a dynamic and immersive environment.
Scope of Works
