The Project
From working alongside Sir Robert McAlpine, Foster & Partners & QMile at the very early stages of the project right up to concluding the supply, design and installation of the seven storey, glazed atrium, Haymarket has seen Indeglas build strong relationships and provide significant input into the success of the wider site team.
Haymarket Square provides world class accommodation with unrivalled panaromic views around Edinburgh but, for Indeglas, it’s true success lies in the building’s ambitious design – with delicately thought out and superbly executed detailing sitting seamlessly within a large-scale atrium.
Indeglas, our manufacturing partners, Fosters and Sir Robert McAlpine proved that working together achieves exceptional standards with samples, mock-ups and site visits providing real impetus to go the extra mile for each other.
This was demonstrated, none more so, with the construction of fully bespoke, imposing but subtle mild steel, glazed screens at the atrium’s scenic lifts and the integration of glazed doorsets that push the bounds of manufacturing technology without ever losing sight of the importance of combining performance, quality and exceptional workmanship.
Haymarket is undoubtedly a finished product that everyone involved across all trades can be proud.
