The Project

The SAS330 Hybrid ceiling installation at Dudley Interchange required a high level of coordination, precision and workmanship to deliver a visually striking ceiling system. The project involved the installation of bespoke metal ceiling panels and grid systems, incorporating complex interface details, service integrations and stringent quality requirements.

Working closely with the project team, extensive setting out was undertaken to ensure alignment with the building geometry and the integration of lighting, ventilation and other ceiling-mounted services. Particular attention was given to achieving consistent panel alignment, clean joint lines and a high-quality finished appearance throughout.

Despite programme and coordination challenges associated with a major transport hub, the installation was completed to an exceptional standard, demonstrating the team’s technical expertise, attention to detail and commitment to quality. The completed ceiling provides a durable, aesthetically impressive solution that enhances the passenger experience while meeting the project’s performance and maintenance requirements.
