The Project
This project was a new 3 storey office in Mercia Park, Swadlincote completed for end user DSV, global logistics and transport company. The brief of works was to achieve multiple acoustic criteria with Siniat Acoustic partitioning systems to all office and meeting room areas adjoining the atrium of the building along with Planet double glazed screens with Tech Panels incorporated for small monitor screens.
Layers of flexible 6mm Plywood was used to soften around edges, prior to the Moelven acoustic oak panelling being installed on to the stud and plasterboard partitions. The overall finish was an impressive visual effect whilst dampening noise levels in an open plan office environment.
