Anderson High School, Shetland Isles
The Project
Veitchi Interiors were appointed to install all the internal partitions and wall linings within the new £42 million Anderson High School, which is designed to accommodate 1180 pupils.
Veitchi undertook the internal fit-out works on the four storey school. The work scope comprised all internal partitions and wall linings, acoustic wall panels and suspended ceilings throughout. Veitchi also supplied and installed over 700 timber door sets together with numerous acoustic / fire rated timber glazed screens and all other general joiner finishings including atrium seating, performance stage, skirtings, cills and pelmets. A similar workscope was delivered within the adjacent halls of residence project which was progressed simultaneously and provides 80 en-suite rooms together with all common area facilities.
