The Project
DSP (Interiors) Ltd recently completed the bespoke design, management and fit-out of Hayley Group’s new premises at Dunstall Park in Derby. The multi-faceted interdisciplinary project was carefully executed to ensure that all aspects of the design was tailored to meet the client’s needs. The project encompassed three speculative base-build commercial units, transformed into a multi-functional workplace that will support the myriad of company processes and seamlessly integrates office, warehouse and logistics functions.
A key element was the installation of a large mezzanine floors, including fire rating, which effectively doubled the office space. This allowed for the creation of a complete first floor and additional second floor for expanded storage and office facilities.
DSP Interiors undertook the roles of principal designer and principal contractor including managing the F10 and building control submission. The project included modern offices, meeting rooms, welfare facilities, and an expansive agile workspace, streamlining AMS Hayley Derby’s operations, enhancing productivity and promoting staff well-being.
The standout features include super high-resolution graphic walls incorporating biophilic landscapes, acoustic timber slat panels, coloured acoustic ceiling tiles and a feature TV surround in the boardroom, complete with programmable halo LED lighting. This forward-thinking design fosters a dynamic and efficient work environment.
