Drylining Design Engineer Competency Framework
The Drylining Design Engineer Competence Framework has been developed to support the person with responsibility for taking a completed RIBA Stage 3 design and preparing a completed RIBA Stage 4 design for the drylining part of the interior system. It should be noted that design development responsibilities should be clearly identified on a Design Responsibility Matrix to support competent working.
This work may be undertaken by:
• An architect or architectural technician
• An independent drylining design engineer operating on a consultancy basis
• A drylining design engineer employed by the specialist drylining contractor
These frameworks perform best when opened in Adobe Reader.
