The Project
This project entailed high specification specialist joinery works for end user DSV, the global logistics and transport company. The works formed part of their new 3 storey office building in Mercia Park, Swadlincote and comprised of Moelven acoustic oak panelling to all floors, installation of door/frames, ironmongery, kitchens, stair strings and Trekker composite decking to exterior balconies.
The client’s brief was to mirror their Head Office in Denmark, so the Moelven acoustic oak panelling was specified and procured from Denmark, which led to many liaisons and translation services to ensure this was captured precisely as the client required.
Further bespoke joinery works included the white laminated MDF Main Reception desk, planters with Corian worktops and white laminated MDF window boards along with white high gloss kitchen units with white mirror chip Quartzstone worktops giving a modern contemporary finish.
