New online drylining knowledge training
The time for upskilling drylining operatives and managers is NOW, as closer scrutiny and tighter controls demand that companies can demonstrate they have done everything possible to produce right first time, defect free drylining.
FIS Training Provider E-Apptitude’s online Specialised Technical Education Programs (Steps) can help improve your team’s understanding of drywall. By building knowledge and highlighting potential issues, the programs aim to improve the quality of finished work and reduce the risk of errors or defective works.
Paul Townsend of PAT Partitions said: ‘STEPs is an easy to deliver continuous improvement skills programme. Our managers, supervisors and installation gangs are all responding positively. Since we started putting contracts teams through the programme we’ve found there’s less waste, fewer defects and better efficiency.”
STEPs are available in English, Russian, Romanian and Bulgarian and are fully grant funded by CITB. This training is now on offer to FIS members for £55 (standard rate £95 per candidate)
