FIS employs a team dedicated to supporting the development of competent and skilled workforce. This is built around the FIS Comprtency SAKE Framerwork and the pillars of Skill, Attitude, Knowledge and Experience. Our team work with an array of specialist training providers. Key information is below, but we also operate a specialist skills helpline (available through the switchboard number above) to support our members and their teams to access the right training (and funding).
FIS members can access our dedicated e-learning centre. This includes freely available specialist training modules based on the FIS Best Practice Guides and heavily discounted business development courses.
BIM Process Training
Want to work with main contractors on projects delivered through BIM but are unable to demonstrate your company’s BIM capability? Then this programme is for you.

Qualifying your workforce
It is becoming increasingly important to get your workforce qualified and FIS is supporting this by helping members and LOSCs to get the appropriate Skills Card.
