1. Introduction and Opening – Iain McIlwee, FIS

2. The FIS Digital Spine – where technology is shaping our sector – Mark Norton, ISG
Mark Norton, Group BIM Director at ISG and Chair of the FIS Digital Working Group introduces the FIS Digital Spine and talks through the technologies emerging that are helping to reshape the Finishes and Interiors Sector and highlights some of the opportunities and challenges we will face as a sector.

3. BIM Update – Is BIM having an impact? What next? Duncan Reed, UK BIM Alliance
Duncan Trimble is Digital Construction Process Manager at Trimble and also dedicates time to support the UK BIM Alliance, a group established to help the built environment sector to take the first fundamental step in your journey to digital transformation.  Duncan will draw upon the results of the recent BIM State of the Nation Survey to look at where and how BIM is impacting construction and what we can expect from the next 12 months and will introduce some of the support and resources available through the UK BIM Alliance, of which FIS is an affiliate member.

4. The Construction Playbook – Digitalisation at the heart of value led change
In this presentation we will take a step back and look at some of the references to the need to Digitalise included in the Playbook (the new guidance tool to support Government procurement that captures commercial best practices and specific sector reforms outlining the government’s expectations of how contracting authorities and suppliers, including the supply chain, should engage with each other) and how this is likely to support and drive change in the sector. We will also look at some of the training and support out there to help you to embark or take the next step on your own digitalisation process.

5. Open Discussion / Q&A – Targeting FIS Support
After each presentation, plenty of time will be made available for any questions or comments you may have and we will allow time at the end to take stock and also explore where you feel FIS may be able to provide more support to your business
