JOB PURPOSE
To take ownership of and respond to specification requests both written & verbal relating to Hadley Structural & Drylining products and systems.  Engaging at enquiry level with Architects, Main Contractors, Sub-contractors to advise and develop the best solution or solutions using Hadley Structural & Drylining products.  Managing the customer through the Review and Solution stages of the Sales process to reach the pricing opportunity.

To become a technical expert in Hadley Structural & Drylining products and systems, supporting the development of business in this key market sector.

JOB DETAILS

The job holder should:

  • Provide technical support to the sales team to achieve the sales revenue plan of growth and increased market share, revenue, profit, and ROI.
  • Support both the sales team in doing so build and maintain industry and competitor knowledge.
  • Provide written and/or verbal internal technical support to external customers providing data, information, or redirecting them to the correct party and ensuring pertinent data is capturing within the CRM platform.
  • Assist in the development, creation, management, storage and control of project pack and specification templates and other critical project design data.
  • Assist in the testing, assessment and development regime to ensure Hadley system offerings have complete technical substantiation that is fit for purpose for both the market and Hadley Group.
  • Identify opportunities for and carry out product development within the market sector.
  • Working alongside the sales team to establish productive, professional relationships with key customer personnel across the levels of the hierarchy to ensure maximum customer integration and information flow.
  • Support Strategic Marketing in the execution of local market research, competitor, and customer surveys.
  • Promote and sharing knowledge related to the specification market with both the wider team and the Group as a whole.
  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
  • Seek active membership and participation with relevant trade groups and associations.
  • Support marketing of technical data (website content, brochures, seminars, trade shows etc…)
  • Keep abreast of competitors technical offerings, and benchmark best practice.
  • Any other duties within the capability of the job holder

External: Customers, design & architectural community, developers, sub-contractors, suppliers, consultants

Internal: All levels within all divisions

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Areas: Within the UK & international group sites as required

Frequency: Frequent, Full UK driving license is required, with any offences declared to the company

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education and Qualification(s)

Degree level within relevant field, or relevant specific experience preferred.

Experience

  • Technical understanding of SFS and drylining systems of build products and system requirements
  • Relevant experience of specification management
  • Analytical skills and technical problem solving
  • Capable of understanding architectural drawings
  • Customer technical support
  • Experience within building product manufacturers, sub contractors, and/or distribution.

Language(s) & level: Fluent English
