About the Scotland Forum

The Scottish special interest forum was formed in November 2014. Membership of the Forum is open to all FIS members who are based or have an office and/or branch located in Scotland.

The objectives of the Forum are to:

  • Promote best practice
  • Educate and inform clients and specifiers about the group
  • Promote the skills and quality standards of the group’s members
  • Train the workforce and close the skills gap
  • Become the technical authority for the sector in Scotland
  • Provide market sector information
  • Be the lobbying group for the sector in Scotland and where relevant, support and work with the Scottish NSCC committee
  • Rationalise the PQQ process to into one common questionnaire
  • Support the three main core activities of FIS: Skills, Technical, Community
